We may sound both new and familiar to some.  That’s because we are both new and familiar.  The Cookson Stephens Corporation (CSC) was born out of a partnership between Matt Cookson and Carol Stephens in 2010.  This partnership saw Matt join Carol’s firm, CC Stephens, as president to bring together extensive public relations and communications experience on top of Carol’s decades of work in marketing and advertising.  In late 2010, Matt and Carol swapped roles under the Cookson Stephens company name with a new focus, location, and commitment to serve as a valued and integrated extension of our clients’ organizations to help them plan, refine, and achieve their communications and organizational objective.

As a result, CSC is the new kid on the block, with a solid foundation, long term clients, decades of experience in providing strategic and creative, results-driven solutions, and energy and enthusiasm for what we do.

Our vision:

  • To work with clients as a valued and integrated extension of their organization to help them plan, refine, and achieve their communications and organizational goals and objectives;
  • To focus on serving organizations in education, technology, the non-profit sector as well as others that can support local, regional and national workforce and economic development;
  • To achieve modest but consistent annual revenue growth to support building and retaining a highly skilled staff and resource network that can work independently and collectively to best service clients, and;
  • To act in an ethical and socially responsible manner and give back to the community and state in which we operate.
