Cookson Stephens Corporation (CSC) is a New Hampshire S-Corporation formed in 2010. Matt Cookson is the president and founder, and has been working in strategic communications roles for nearly 25 years, the last 15 in New Hampshire. Carol Stephens established her marketing firm, CC Stephens, in 1991 and has successfully served numerous local, national, and international clients. Matt and Carol have known each other for a decade, mainly through the work of the New Hampshire High Technology Council (NHHTC). Carol was the long time executive director, and Matt served on the Board of Directors and chaired the Education Committee. The two partnered in 2010 to transition the business and the NHHTC work, and Matt founded CSC as the successor company to CC Stephens.
CSC officially opened its doors on November 27, 2010 (coincidentally on Matt’s son’s 12th birthday), and the firm will be relocating from Peterborough, NH to downtown Manchester at 36 Lowell Street in 2011. Matt serves in a dual role as president of CSC and executive director of the NHHTC, and Carol serves as a strategic advisor to CSC.
