At CSC, we not only practice public relations, we teach it at the college level.  As a result, we talk about PR in terms of issues management and define it as follows: serving a client’s public relations needs requires working with them in a proactive way to help anticipate, identify, evaluate, and respond to public policy issues that affect organizations’ relationships with their publics. At CSC, we serve as an extension to organizations to provide this set of services and on an ongoing basis so the company management team to focus on the core business.  Issues Management is our version of IM!
